Examining in Cyprus

It is always a pleasure to examine in Cyprus, - the timetables are usually well organised and the standard, particularly of Music Theatre and Pop Vocals, is high. The weather and climate are conducive to getting the best from the students and all are well prepared for the examinations. The teachers are all keen and enthusiastic, to better themselves and their students and everyone works extremely hard. Standards are well on a par with UK and often higher. Each teacher has his/her own Music School, so the daily changing venues are interesting and varied. There are always chances for Master Classes and workshops that mean the teachers can constantly keep up with current changes and improvements. It has to be one of the loveliest places in the world. "The examination centre in Cyprus covers a wide area, and the representative is highly efficient. I found him most helpful and I can recommend the centre if you want London College of Music examinations."

"I have nothing but great things to say about my experience examining in Limassol. Christos and his wife were excellent hosts, the venues were clean, fully equipped and easy to work in, and the tutors that I met were friendly and welcoming. All of this combined to make my first trip to Limassol as an examiner an easy one, and I hope to get back to work in such a friendly and productive environment again soon."

" My visit to the LCM examination centre in Cyprus was a very pleasurable experience. I was greeted warmly and well looked after during my brief stay. The exam centre facilities were excellent and the standard of the applicants was very high. All the students had a thorough grounding of technical and theoretical knowledge thanks to some excellent tuition. I look forward to my next visit and wish you well."

I have been most fortunate to have been invited to the enchanting island of Cyprus. It was a privilege to listen to the high quality music making there and indeed there was some exceptional playing. The enthusiasm was invigorating and it was wonderful to work with very friendly and professional reps. I was taken to see many parts of the island with the entire archaeological heritage and have tasted the delights of the Cyprian cuisine. Altogether this was a very enriching and unforgettable experience. Thank you to the reps, the teachers for all their remarkable work and of course the students who gave me so much pleasure,
